I’ve been married to the love of my life for nine years, who I actually met on a blind date. We have three beautiful children here on earth with us and they are our everything.
I’m a lover of all things home, great music, good food, being outside and my savior.
I went to school to be an elementary educator and taught kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade for five years. I thought I had picked the perfect “mom job” but little did I know it would actually pave the path of us choosing to homeschool our kids.
The past two years as a family we’ve had a big change of heart of what we desire for our family’s life. We’re chasing more time in nature, slowing down and being way more present. Our time is something we can never get back. It’s precious and we are intentional of how we want to spend it with our family.
We’ve been homeschooling for 2 years and have had many ups and downs through it all. But it’s been the best decision we could ever make for our family. It’s a new lifestyle and something new to learn. Being alone in this community can be really hard. So learning from other wonderful like minded moms is what I love. I hope this can be a place of encouragement and support for you whether you are a homeschooling mom or not.
